About the design
This design is inspired by Proverbs 27:17 - "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." It represents the biblical idea that we grow stronger through faithful relationships, accountability, encouragement, correction, and brotherhood.
The image of Jesus wearing the crown of thorns keeps Christ at the center, representing His sacrifice, suffering, and the example believers are called to follow. The hammer, anvil, and heated iron symbolize the process of being shaped and refined - just as metal becomes stronger through pressure and repeated work, our character and faith can be strengthened through the people God places around us.
The sparks created as the iron meets iron represent growth through challenge: true brothers and sisters in faith do not simply agree with us, but encourage us, correct us, and push us closer to God.
Together, the artwork represents brotherhood, discipline, accountability, spiritual growth, perseverance, and becoming stronger in Christ.
